Sir Elliot Poorman’s Compressor Series II

Hi.
The Poor man’s Compressor Series II follows a different topology than the Poor man’s Compressor. This brings forth a different response in terms of reaction time and frequency response amongst the two devices.
Bear in mind other than the faceplate and, adjustable parameters, the Poor man’s Compressor & the Poor man’s Compressor Series II have nothing in common.
At the time of writing, the Poor man’s Compressor continues to be downloaded and will still be available to download based on the differential in terms of sound amongst the two designs.
The Poor man’s Compressor Series II will be better suited for those who cannot control the Poor man’s Compressor’s erratic behaviour based on their material.
I have enclosed a video comparing the Poor man’s Compressor & Poor man’s Compressor Series II so you can get an idea of the tonal characteristics amongst the two compressors.
I would suggest observing the Wavosaur’s meter bridge if your loudspeakers are unable to inform you the difference in terms of sound amongst the two compressors.
